From meeting drivers to taking home special mementos, it was a race weekend they’ll never forget.
How did you hear about/enter the competition and have you been to a race before?
I saw the competition on Instagram and decided to take part. It wasn’t the first time I had entered a competion like this. I had never been to a Formula 1 race before. It had always been a childhood dream of mine, something I knew would happen eventually – but I never imagined that my very first Grand Prix would be from the Mercedes hospitality. That made it truly unforgettable.
What was your reaction when you won?
I’ll never forget that moment. When I found out I had won, I was speechless – I couldn’t believe it. I even double checked to make sure it wasn’t a scam and that it was all real, and then I was just so excited
What was your highlight of the weekend?
The highlight of the weekend for me was definitely the hot lap with Valtteri Bottas in the Mercedes AMG GTR. It was completely unexpected – it wasn’t even listed in our schedule – so it turned out to be an amazing surprise for us. And then having the chance to do a lap around such a historic and iconic track like Monza, alongside a great driver like Valtteri Bottas, was just incredible and exciting.
Who was your favourite team/driver that you saw?
I was lucky enough to get a close look at all the teams and drivers. It was amazing to have my cap signed by both Leclerc and Hamilton, but even more special was the chance to step inside the Mercedes garage and experience FP3 from there. I also got to meet the Mercedes drivers – Russell, Antonelli, and Bottas – in person, which was something truly incredible that I never could have imagined.
Can you sum up your weekend in a sentence?
Seeing Formula 1 live for the first time ever – and doing it from such a privileged, front-row perspective — was truly a dream come true. Everything happened so quickly that I still haven’t fully processed it, but I know it’s an experience I’ll carry with me for all my life.
Would you recommend F1 Unlocked to a friend?
Yes, absolutely – I’d recommend everyone to take part in competitions like this. I never thought I would actually win. But to win you really do need a lot of luck, just like I had… and maybe you’ll be the next one… In conclusion I just wanted to express again my heartfelt thanks to Formula 1 and Mercedes for this truly incredible opportunity that I’ll carry with me forever.
