The Mazda 3 Hatchback trims that margin but still sits a few hundred dollars higher. Toyota remains the only brand that undercuts it, with the 2026 Corolla Hatchback priced at $24,180. The gap is small, and the Toyota offers more power in base form, but the K4’s modern platform, design, stronger tech suite, and interior packaging make it a compelling alternative for just $700 more.
