Lexus took the opportunity to unveil their new Lexus Sport Concept at the Quail Motorsport Gathering during Monterey Car Week. This concept looks like the one first teased by Lexus back in 2021, and it featured a more polished design, which made it more of a production model.

The company hasn’t released more information but has only given a few clues; it has been working on a model dubbed the Lexus LFR, which covers Lexus’ combustion ambitions, will have a front engine with a rear-drive configuration, a twin-turbo V8, and is likely to have a rear transaxle gearbox.
The sports concept is very likely to be a fully electric performance model. This is a move by Lexus towards the EV supercar space. When the Electrified Sport Concept was initially shown off in 2021, the company projected that the car would use a low 2-second 0 to 60 mph time and have a 430-mile range.

Thanks to its solid-state battery technology, it has helped the Electrified Lexus Sport Concept achieve a 430-mile range. Other interesting details on this concept include the exhaust pipes that exist under the wing and have huge vents on its rear that look the same as those on the LFA.
Behind the windows, there are also some vents, which look like they are acting as a brake or can be used as an inlet for transaxle cooling. Around four small fans could be spotted on the center high mount.

In a release, Lexus stated that the progressively styled, “future-focused yet truly authentic sportscar signals the way forward for Lexus design.” This concept car has a wide, low-profile look and two doors, blending dynamic and emotional elements into a vision of a next-gen sports car.
